在中轴线申遗工作的引领下，北京嘉禾国际母婴护理中心依托南中轴地区丰富的生态资源，挖掘城南地区悠久的特色文化资源，引入国际先进的城市更新理念，将原已废弃的旧厂区，改造为一个集“智能、生态、艺术”等高端要素为一体的城市服务业态新地标。
中心紧邻久敬庄公园，位于展现中轴界面风貌的南苑森林湿地公园辐射范围内，建筑面积近10000m²，园林面积3000多m²，是北京目前占地面积最大的月子中心，内设母婴照护房间99个。
